The Operations > Run Shortcut tab
displays the available shortcuts for the current application. The
application and your login profile determine the available shortcuts.
When
you click a shortcut, Datacap completes
one of the following options:
- If the task is a batch creation task that is completed in Datacap Web Client, such as Scan or VScan, Datacap displays the web
page for that task.
- For other tasks, Datacap checks
the job queue for batches that are ready for processing. If batches
are available, Datacap either
opens the highest priority available batch in the queue or displays
the job queue so you can select a batch. The action depends on the batch
selection mode, which the Datacap administrator configures
on the Administrator > Shortcuts tab.
