The Job Monitor displays the job queue for the current
application. If you are looking for a specific batch and do not see
it, click Default.
View settings
- Items per page
- Specifies the maximum number of jobs to view. If the queue contains
more than this number, Datacap splits
the queue across multiple pages. You can view other pages by clicking
the page number, such as [1], in the Job Monitor.
- Delete batches
- Deletes all batches that are displayed.
- Filter
- Displays the Advanced Job Monitor Filter. Use Filter to
specify search criteria to locate specific batches. For example, you
can specify a date range, an operator, or a status. To remove the
filter and return to the default view, click Default.
- Refresh
- Click to refresh the display.
- Refresh rate
- Specifies the automatic refresh rate for the page. The option, --,
means that a refresh is not done automatically.
- Default
- Removes any applied filters and returns all view settings to their
default values.
Column headers
You can display or hide the
columns by clicking the Show Columns options,
such as QID, Batch, and Priority.
- QID
- Displays the queue ID. If the batch is pending or on hold, you
can open the batch by clicking the queue ID.
- Batch
- Displays the batch ID. Click the batch ID to display and optionally
change the batch details or delete the batch. See Selected
batch details. You can open the details pane and change
specific settings if your login account has the appropriate permissions.
See the User tab.
- To display the job queue information for a specific batch, enter
the batch ID in the edit field and press Enter.
- Job
- Displays the job name. To display job queue information for batches
that are associated with a specific job, select the job name from
the drop-down list.
- Task
- Displays the task name. To display job queue information for batches
that are associated with a specific task, select the task name from
the list.
- Status
- Displays the status of the batch. To display job queue information
for batches with a specific status, select the status from the list.
- Job start
- Displays the date and time the job was started. For a Main job,
the time is when the batch was created. For child job, the time that
is displayed is when the first task in the job began processing the
batch.
- Job time
- Displays the total number of seconds the batch spent being processed
by all tasks.
- Task start
- When a task is running, Task start indicates
the date and time that the task started. When a task is pending, it
indicates the date and time that the last task finished.
- Task time
- When a batch is on hold or stopped, Task time indicates
the total number of seconds the batch is in the running state for
the current task.
- Operator
- When a task is running, Operator indicates
the current operator. If no task is running, what is displayed depends
on the Store value of the previous task, and
the Queue by value of the pending task. See
the topic about the Workflow tab.
- If the Store value includes User,
the field indicates which operator performed the task.
- If the Store value does not include User,
the field is blank.
- Station
- When a task is running, Station indicates
the current station. If no task is running, what is displayed depends
on the Store value of the previous task, and
theQueue by value of the pending task. (See
the topic about the Workflow tab.)
- If the Store value includes Station,
the field indicates which station performed the task.
- If the Store value does not include Station,
the field is blank.
- Priority
- Displays the batch priority. The highest priority is 1 and
the lowest priority is 10.
- Docs
- Displays the number of documents in the batch.
- Pages
- Displays the number of pages in the batch.
Show columns
These buttons control which
columns are displayed in the main Job Monitor table. Click a button
to display or hide a specific column.
Selected batch details
This
window is displayed when you click a batch ID number in the main job monitor
table. You can delete a batch or change specific settings if your
login account has the appropriate permissions. See User tab.
- Batch ID
- Displays the batch ID.
- Batch dir
- Displays the path to the batch folder. Do not change this setting.
- Page file
- Displays the name of the runtime batch file. Do not change this
setting.
- Task ID
- Displays the task name. If you have Status Change/Rollback permission
that is specified in the Users tab, you can
send the batch back to a previous task.
- Status
- Displays the status of the batch. If you have Status Change/Rollback permission
that is specified in the Users tab, you can
change the task status.
- Operator
- See the help for the Operator field. If
you have Status Change/Rollback permission that is
specified in the Users tab, you can change
the operator ID.
- Station
- See the help for the Station field. If
you have Status Change/Rollback permission that is
specified in the Users tab, you can change
the station ID.
- Priority
- Displays the batch priority. If you have Status Change/Rollback permission
that is specified in the Users tab, you can
change the batch priority. The highest priority is 1 and
the lowest priority is 10.
- Apply
- Saves the changes.
- Delete batch
- Deletes the selected batch. Delete batch is displayed
only if you have permission to delete batches, which is specified
in the User tab.
